The Village Ballroom—for Weddings, Dances, Classes, Concerts, and Special Events

The Village Ballroom is Portland’s only Public-Benefit Non-Profit ballroom. 100% of the profit from each event in the ballroom is donated to several different local charities, and we allow each individual renter to choose which charity they would like their rental to support.

No matter what your event is, now it can also be a benefit event for a local charity of your choosing. Don’t just throw your party, host your class, have your wedding or reception when you can also benefit your community at the same time. Contact us today!

A community gathering space for performance, dance, special events, conferences, classes and workshops, the Village Ballroom is located at 700 NE Dekum, Portland, Oregon. Built in 1909 in the Woodlawn neighborhood of northeast Portland, the Village Ballroom (formerly the Rose City Ballroom and earlier the Woodlawn Community Hall) has an open ballroom with modern climate control, men's and women's bathrooms, a greeting room, and a bar.

The Village Ballroom is designed to comfortably and smoothly accommodate special events from weddings to small conferences. Plenty of on-street parking is available and access is easy via public transportation. If you’d like more information, or a list of the charities we support, just let us know.
